recording.split

The recording API provides the ability to interact with live stream recordings. The split command will split the recording and start a new file. A successful split will return the name of the file and duration. If a callback URL is provided, a notification will be sent to the callback when the recording has been moved and indexed by the file api. Additionally a wildcard can be sent in the stream parameter to run the request over multiple streams. If you do not wish to keep the current recorded segment, you can delete it by sending the "delete" parameter.

Example Code (PHP)

//If your PHP host does not have a proper SSL certificate bundle, you will need to turn off SSL Certificate Verification

//curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, false); // Turns off verification of the SSL certificate.

    $response = curl_exec($ch); //Execute the API Call
